The food and pharmacy industry is an important market for Eshuis. Our clients in this sector don’t take any risks when it comes to food safety and quality. As a producer and supplier of food packaging and labels, we are frequently audited by our clients. We see these recurring audits as an extra boost to completely control our process at every turn.

Eshuis considers it important to respond to the wishes of its (retail) clients. Those wishes are
translated into the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials. This standard was developed collaboratively by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and the Institute of Packaging (IoP). With the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials, packaging companies can demonstrate that their processes are food safe.

Among the aspects that are important for this standard are a hazard and risk analysis per process step, supervising the critical points in the production process, the hygiene of the workforce, the maintenance and condition of technical installations, the product and process control, and the organization, order and cleanliness of the infrastructure.

The company is completely focused on those aspects and we are really proud of the results!
Quality and environment
In addition to the established requirements in compliance with the BRC-IoP standards, Eshuis gives high priority to environmental aspects. We use solvent-free inks, we pay attention to the use of materials and wastage, and recycle our waste flows, both in the production environment and at the office.
